Our wedding at the Hilton Christiana came together more perfectly than we could have imagined and especially since we only had about a month to plan! My dad actually recommended the hotel after hearing rave reviews from his customers who had hosted weddings here, and once we saw it, we completely understood why. The Hilton Christiana checked all the boxes: a beautiful space, convenient location, great food, and an experienced team that made planning simple and stress-free.
From the first conversation, Leah made everything effortless. She was responsive, thoughtful, and ready with answers for every question or special request. We didn’t have to worry about any details and from the menu to the setup, everything was handled with care. The all-inclusive approach really took the weight off our shoulders, and even our guests commented on how seamless the day felt.
Even though our timeline was short, we were able to make the day feel personal and meaningful. Our wedding cake and slideshow told our story and both as a couple and as travelers. The Hilton team accommodated everything we asked for, including special meal requests for guests with dietary restrictions, without making us change the main menu. It was such a relief knowing everyone could enjoy the meal together without compromise. The chicken marsala and salmon entrées were big hits!
Our favorite moment was when we finally got to sit down and enjoy dinner together and our first real breather all day. Later that night, we returned to our room to find a beautiful surprise: the Hilton staff had left thoughtful gifts and flower petals on the bed. It was such a sweet gesture that made the evening even more special. After the wedding, we took a short trip to New Orleans to unwind, but we’re already dreaming about our true honeymoon in Hawaii. Hilton Christiana gave us the perfect start to our marriage! Simple, elegant, and full of heart.
