We knew from our very first visit that the Hilton Christiana was the perfect venue for us. The team was incredibly accommodating, flexible, and responsive from start to finish. We wanted something that would take the stress out of planning and Hilton’s inclusive package did exactly that. It had everything we needed in one place: food, drinks, décor, lighting, and even flowers. The venue itself was stunning, and we loved that it was affordable without sacrificing quality or style.

As teachers, planners, and perfectionists, we wanted our day to be as organized as it was meaningful. KellyAnn and the Hilton team went above and beyond to make sure every detail came together beautifully. When there was a chance of rain and a small delay with our flowers, they handled it all calmly and professionally, keeping us relaxed and focused on the joy of the day. Their warmth and dedication made all the difference — we couldn’t have asked for better people to help bring our dream to life.

I’ve always loved the idea of fairy tales and storytelling being an English teacher, that theme felt close to my heart. I wanted our wedding to feel like a storybook come to life. Pinterest was my biggest inspiration, and I added personal, handmade touches wherever I could. I created all our centerpieces myself, and Hilton arranged them perfectly. For a fun and personal twist, we skipped the traditional cake and set up a beignet and ice cream table as a nod to my Louisiana roots. It was a huge hit with our guests!

The food was absolutely amazing our guests are still talking about it! We loved being able to add a late-night Philly cheesesteak station for everyone after all the dancing. And our signature drink a sangria named after our two basset hounds added a lighthearted touch that people loved. At the end of the night, guests who stayed at the hotel were able to unwind at the restaurant bar and fireplace patio. It gave us extra time to laugh, relax, and connect with everyone after such an incredible day. For our honeymoon, we headed to the Bahamas for a week at Sandals Resort the perfect ending to a truly unforgettable celebration.
