From the very first time we toured the Hilton Christiana, we knew it was the one. The courtyard took our breath away from the flowers, the landscaping, and that beautiful sense of privacy made it the perfect place to say our vows. When we stepped inside and saw the ballroom and cocktail hour space, we could instantly picture the flow of our day. It felt like everything just fit. The Hilton’s team was warm, professional, and eager to make our vision a reality, and that gave us so much confidence leading up to the big day.
We wanted our wedding to be a true reflection of us, and the Hilton helped us create something elegant yet personal. Our love for wine inspired our theme, and it came to life through details like bottle centerpieces, cork accents, and rich fall colors, shades of red, orange, and yellow. The setting complemented the decor perfectly, especially under the crisp autumn sky. From start to finish, everything flowed so smoothly thanks to Leah and her team, who handled every detail with care and enthusiasm. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Pinterest became our best friend while planning, especially for fall and wine-themed ideas. We had so much fun collecting inspiration and adding our own touches with décor from Michael’s, AC Moore, and Joann Fabrics. The Hilton team made sure every detail came together exactly as we envisioned. Leah answered every question, calmed every concern, and handled everything with professionalism and kindness. The entire planning process was smoother than we could have hoped for and she truly took the weight off our shoulders.
The food was outstanding, and even now, guests still talk about how delicious everything was. The cheesesteak bar was the surprise hit of the night, and the bartenders made sure our signature drinks were flowing all evening. Our ceremony was our favorite part was that the weather was perfect, the courtyard looked stunning, and seeing it all come together was incredibly emotional. We ended our celebration with an amazing honeymoon in Aruba, soaking in the memories of what will always be the best day of our lives.
